I entered the competition but never thought I would win a few weeks later I received a call from Robert to say I had won the competition I couldn't believe it!!
From start to finish it was an absolute pleasure having Robert and his family sharing our big day. Robert is a true gentleman and the fact he works with his wife Annette and daughter Rhiannon adds something unique and special to there service.
The package we won was fantastic from the pre wedding shoot we got to know Robert better and he got to know us better too which helped us relax a lot more.
Robert kept in contact with us right up to the big day, on the 26th aug 2011 our wedding had arrived. On the morning of our wedding Annette came to photograph me and Robert and his daughter went to my husband Ross, I loved how they did this as from the photos that had been taken a story was told by seeing what both the bride and groom had done on the morning of there wedding.
Robert, Annette and Rhiannon were just fantastic on our big day and so well organised. The weather wasn't the best on the day but the results of the photos were brilliant. I couldn't be happier with our photos and album they are beautiful.
Ross and I would like to say a massive thank you to you all and thank you for the fantastic prize we won.

Robert and Annette were the photographers for my wedding on August 19th 2012. They were professional, courteous, and kind. They went above and beyond what we expected of them throughout the entire process. From start to finish, their organisation skills were exemplary. We wanted to share our gratitude and thanks for the wonderful photos taken by your self and your wife on our wedding day.
We booked North lights for our wedding photography roughly a year and a half prior to the wedding day. From the day we met Robert we knew that he was who we wanted to photograph our special day. Robert was helpful as we did not know exactly what we wanted from our wedding photography, but after meeting with Robert and seeing his previous work we both felt confident and at ease with his suggestions.
North lights offer a selection of wedding packages suitable to varied budgets and taste and we felt that the packages offered were affordable and of a high standard. North lights offered a pre wedding shoot as part of the package we chose, as a couple we were both apprehensive about this as did not see the relevance of this, but North lights explained that this would make the day more relaxed. Following the pre wedding shoot we both felt much more at ease having our photograph taken and understood the relevance and importance of doing this, it helped the photography flow well on the day of the wedding.
On the wedding day we had two photographers one whom worked with the bridal party and the other with the grooms party, taking photos over the morning capturing all the wedding preparations. They both went above and beyond their roles helping the groom with his tie and button hole and his wife helping in a wedding dress stain crisis. They both remained professional at all times and did not intrude on the day with our family and friends.
Seeing the photos post the wedding day was a fantastic experience, seeing the day on photo really reminded us of the special moments we shared and the team also captured moments we did not know about providing insight to moments missed.
The final album laouty was very good, photographs well presented in chronological order. Initial draft received was perfect and did not require any touch ups or changes. Online viewing and ordering process simple and easy to use. All interactions with the North lights team were met with a timely response. Overall as a couple we were delighted with the overall product and professional service we received and would recommend North Lights to all those looking for a wedding photographer.
